Description

Very few people haven’t heard about Casa de Chá Boa Nova [Boa Nova Teahouse] designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira in 1958 but very few are able to actually pay it a visit. Chef Rui Paula’s famous restaurant is exclusive yet the visit we propose gives free access to the building. Recently renewed after some months of neglect, this is an opportunity to see once again one of Siza’s first works, and a meticulous renewal that also expresses itself in the original furniture. Lose yourself in the many unexpected details, evidence of a project made with time and with highly specialized labour.
