Description

Some might say that one of the characteristics of the architecture made in Porto is the “office under the staircase”, this means an office with small dimensions but with great ambition, when it comes to absolute control over the project. The offices of Nuno Brandão Costa (Secil Award 2009) and of Atelier da Bouça (Filipa Guerreiro and Tiago Correia) both share one of the small buildings designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira when finish off the design of the Bouça housing estate. Establishing at the same time the articulation of its program with the fluidity of the Boavista street. Go in the offices and let yourself be amazed by the models. Right beside it, in a space also designed by Siza, you have Circo de Ideias, a bookshop dedicated to architecture.
