Description
Almost hidden from the street, this group of sea swimming pools is one of the most powerful accomplishments of Álvaro Siza Vieira, capable of taming a vaguely rectangular portion of sea and rocks. In contrast, the support building, recently renewed, built in wood and covered in copper, has in its delicate structure the marks of almost five decades of sea air and burnt oil. The entire project is, after all, a rare and happy symbiosis between architecture and natural elements. To enjoy preferably with not a lot of clothes, salt in your face and with the taste of the latest trend in ice cream flavour in your mouth.
